Joy is a Shared Experience

When was the last time you felt really Happy?

I have recently learned that Happiness is an individual experience.

When was the last time you experienced true Joy?

Joy is a shared experience.

Every single thing that we think will make us happy, will, sooner or later, bring us suffering. Even if we have everything we think we want, one day that will go, just like everything else.

Whereas, the things that bring us joy are shared. Because they are shared, they last forever.

When I think about the things that have brought me joy, even now, I can feel my heart open and expand. Every time, I was doing something to contribute to other people’s lives.

Your greatest gift will be your ability to create and share joy with others this holiday season.

And as you share your love, your inner cup will be filled, too.

This holiday, I wish you happiness.

And more than that, I wish you joy,

Use Manifesting to Heal Limiting Beliefs

Have you tried manifesting more love and abundance in your life, but, no matter how hard you try, they just seems to get further away? Or worse, you get the exact opposite of what you wanted.

You do everything you were taught to do to manifest. You bring up the mental pictures of what you want, and you get into the feeling place of already having it. However, it still seems to elude you.

You may have begun to think that all this manifesting stuff doesn’t work.

It is important to know that anytime you go for love and abundance, whatever beliefs you have that are in the way of having it, will come to the surface to be healed. That’s why it’s not showing up in your life, yet. You need to heal and release the limiting beliefs so that you can have what you want.

For instance, let’s say you want a new car, but, subconsciously, you believe you don’t deserve it. Until you change or let go of that negative belief, you probably won’t get your new car.

Many of your core beliefs were created in childhood, at birth, and even in the womb. They were pushed into the subconscious part of your mind where they are harder to access, yet they run your life as an adult. These beliefs aren’t usually rational because you developed them when you weren’t capable of understanding things like an adult, yet. Some of them have been passed down in your family for generations.

Although the limiting beliefs may have been there for a long time, you can heal them.

Use manifesting as a way to show you what’s in the way of you having what you want. Then, you can work on healing it so that you can have the love and abundance you deserve.

And above all, trust the process of life. Maybe God has something better in store for you than you could ever imagine for yourself.

Do You Need to Work on Yourself Emotionally?

Have you wondered if you need to work on yourself emotionally?

You see other people working to heal limiting beliefs and behaviors by doing some kind of emotional release work, but you wonder if any of it is necessary.

It is possible for people to experience spontaneous healings. However, most of us need some kind of a process to move the ego out of the driver’s seat, and to allow Love to run our lives, instead.

For most of us, it takes time, patience, and perseverance to release our habitual, judgmental thinking of ourselves and others, and to let go of the need to be right. For most of us, it takes time to learn to shift our fear based perceptions, to those of love. Heaven and Earth will help you as you, literally, transform yourself. You are not alone, ever.

If you were to gain the insights, healing, or miracles before you were mentally, emotionally and spiritually ready, you wouldn’t be able to handle it. It would be beyond what you believe and understand right now and would put you into too much fear. You will never get more than you can handle.

If you wonder whether you can bypass doing emotional release work, I challenge you to confront your fears and resistance head on. Although the journey might not be easy, it is always worthwhile. I’ve found it’s easier to face my issues and work on them, rather than to get whacked hard by life’s lessons.

The lessons will come. It’s up to you how you choose to learn them.

Remember that any resistance you might feel about doing this, or anything that is for your highest good, is your sign that you should do it.

Practice Conscious Breathing Every Day!

What’s the first thing you do when you’re afraid?

                You hold your breath.

What’s the first thing you do when you feel strong and in your power?

                You take a deep breath.

Breathing is a metaphor for how you live your life. Yet, most people breathe at only about 8% of their capacity to breathe.

Shallow breathing begins for many people at birth when they took their first breath. Their experience may have been frightening and painful causing them to shut their breathing down out of fear. Later, they continue to breathe shallow throughout their lives.

To help open your breathing, do 10 to 20 deep, full breaths every day.

Try not to pause between the inhale and the exhale. So that you’re breathing is circular.

Pull in deeply on the inhale, and relax on the exhale. Let the exhale go without forcing it.

Immediately, take another long, deep breath, and relax again on the exhale.

Continue until you complete 10 to 20 breaths.

If you start feeling lightheaded, stop breathing deeply. You are starting to release toxins. If you continue to breathe like this, you will begin to release suppressed emotions too. If you don’t know what you’re doing to heal them, the energy will get stuck. The problem is that you’ll take whatever the issue is that is trying to release onto the people around you. You need to be with a certified Breathwork practitioner to help you clear your body and mind quicker, easier and more effectively.

Start out slowly on the number of breaths, and build on it over time.

Make breathing part of your meditation ritual by doing the breathing first. Then, relax into your meditation. The breath will help you go deeper into your meditation.

Practice Conscious Breathing every day to experience the inspiration of the new life that is available to always.

Love, Time & Money!

Do you often feel like there are never enough hours in a day?

Do you feel like you never seem to have enough money?

Do you feel like there’s never enough love?

Love, time and money…these are three areas in life where the belief in lack shows up for people.

The belief in lack begins for most of us during our birth process. Perhaps, there wasn’t enough air when you went to take your first breath. You may have developed a belief of there’s not enough…

Maybe you weren’t held long enough by your mother immediately after you were born. (Most of us weren’t. It was what hospitals used to do.) You may have developed a belief then that there is not enough love.

Core beliefs such as, “There is not enough…” were developed at a time when you weren’t capable of understanding things like an adult. Those irrational beliefs were pushed into your subconscious when you were young, yet they run your life as an adult. You create your reality based on these beliefs because that’s what you believe is real.

As an adult, you may have transferred your belief in lack onto your relationships, your work and your life.

The first step to shift this from a negative core belief to a positive one is to find a way to bring this subconscious belief to your conscious mind. If you don’t know what’s there, it will run you.

Breathwork is actually one of the few techniques available that allows people to access their subconscious so they can correct these limiting, core beliefs.

When you are aware of what’s running you at that subconscious level, you can, then, choose to see things differently. You can choose to see things from a place of abundance and love.

Then, flip the negative belief to a positive one.  For example, the statement, “There’s not enough love,” becomes something like, “Love is all there is.”

(When you do this, it’s important to remember love simply may not look like what you think it should. That doesn’t mean that the love isn’t there.)

The next step would be to drill this new belief and knowledge into your mind so that you can replace the old limiting one. Practice, practice, practice…

I am available to support you in your process of releasing your limitations to open to more love, time and money in your life.

And always live your passion,

Do You Wonder Why You Are So Tired?

Every time you suppress an emotion, that energy doesn’t leave. It gets pushed down into your body, and gets trapped at a cellular level. That energy builds up over time, along with the toxins from drugs, anesthesia, medications, alcohol, and so on, that you have taken in throughout your life.

That toxic energy puts stress on your body, and you wonder why you’re so tired all the time. The weight of all that negative energy is literally exhausting.  You carry it with you every moment of every day.

There is a way to release that suppressed, emotional energy, and that’s through emotional release work. There are many techniques you can use, and many different therapists who can help you when you’re ready.

For over 30 years, I’ve been using the Breathwork on myself and other people to heal emotionally. What I love about the Breathwork is that it helps clear those toxins too.

There are innumerable and unexpected benefits that you will gain when you finally allow yourself to release your past, and those toxins, to bring all of your energy and attention into the present. You will be more effective in every area of your life when you do.

With enough commitment, patience, dedication and trust in your process of healing, you can truly become a master of your life. Breathwork just happens to be the most powerful tool I know of to heal.

Change Your Mind to Change Your Experience!

If your thoughts and feelings create your experience, do you pay attention to them and how how they affect you and the people around you?

Do your thoughts make you feel good or bad?

Do people react to you differently when you feel good or bad?

Back a few years ago, I had just moved into a condominium complex, but was having problems with my new phone line. The day I called to get it repaired, I wasn’t in a very good mood, stressed about work and half a dozen other things.

It was obvious the woman on the line didn’t want to take the time to really help me and I snapped at her, my anger rising. She became very rude and quoted me an exorbitant price to get it repaired. Suddenly, I realized what was happening and said I’d call back another time.

The next day, I sat for a moment, looked around at my beautiful new place, feeling my happiness about being there before making the call.

This time, the fellow on the line was extremely helpful and pleasant. He said the line would be repaired in a few hours at no cost.

Take responsibility for your life, and remember, what you focus on, you empower.

How Well Do You Love Yourself?

“To love yourself, is to do kindly things for yourself,” by Gary Zucav

What does self-love mean to you?

What were you taught about being kind to yourself when you were growing up?

Were you taught that to take time for yourself every day is being selfish?

Is it really okay to find ways nurture yourself?

Is your life in balance mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally and every area of your life?

What kind of inner talk goes on in your head about yourself?

How do you allow people to treat you?

Do you allow yourself spontaneous playfulness, or any play at all?

Can you laugh at yourself?

Do you allow yourself to fully experience life? Have you ever?

Can you be compassionate and honest with yourself about your answers to these questions? If not, why?

If you feel you can’t give to yourself, there is always a good reason. The reason may not be rational. Many of our subconscious beliefs began in childhood when we’re not capable of understanding things the way adults do. If you made the feeling wrong and suppressed it, it was pushed into your subconscious. Later in life, you find it still runs your and gets in the way of what you really want.

When you learn self-kindness, your inner well never runs dry. It’s truly the gift that keeps on giving. You are more open to the love from others when you recognize it’s already inside you, and can be taken away. Through self-love, you come to trust yourself, God and process of life.

Give it a try! Do something for yourself today…and every day!

And live your passion!

5 Important Steps to Help You Let Go

You know you need to let go of some things in your life, both inside you and around you, but you don’t have a clue where to begin.

You want more harmony, peace and love, but how do you get that and where do you start?

Here are a few suggestions from Ride the Emtional Wave that can assist you in awakening from all your dreams, both good and bad, that you believed were real:

  • Simplify Your World: Clear out anything that you don’t need, both within yourself and in your life.
  • Raise Your Frequency: through emotional release work.
  • Seek Balance: in your life mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally, and in your relationships, and work.
  • Let Go with Love: You don’t need to use anger or blame to clear out people who are draining you. You can recognize and honor that they walk a path different from your own. You honor your own path and the need to let go with love.
  • Forgiveness: Seek forgiveness from those whom you have offended. Forgive those who have offended you.

Death is a part of life. All things die and are reborn again in the great river of life.

Embrace the prospect of death and allow this knowledge to give you a full appreciation of life.

See your life, and everything in it, as an adventure.

Stage Five of Healing: Acceptance and Surrender

Many people fear change. They will fight to hang on to the familiar, even if it makes them miserable. We believe that if we fight change, then we will be safe.

Fear of change keeps you locked into old patterns and belief systems that may be outdated or flat-out untrue. They don’t serve you or anyone, anymore. Perhaps they never did. It’s just what you have known – up until now.

To allow change in your life, it may require a shift in the way you see yourself. However, you may have a fear that if you see yourself with new eyes, you won’t know who you are. Perhaps you have forgotten that what you are is Love, and that can never be changed in any way because it is of God.

To heal your mind, and let go of the misperceptions, emotions and behaviors you have been consciously and unconsciously developed throughout your life, can feel like a death, or a profound loss.

In fact, you do experience a kind of death; the passing of the part of yourself that saw you as less than what you truly are.

When that part of you passes away, you remember your divinity. You remember you are no greater or lesser than anyone else.
